We celebrate New Year on the 31 of December. Me and my mother decorate our flat. Father does the New Year shopping. My mother and grandma make yummy, traditional dishes. I like the part when I decorate the New Year tree with baubles and tinsels. Then my parents put my New Year gifts under the tree. On New Year all the family gathers in the living room. We set a big table with lots of lovely dishes, sweets, and drinks. We fill the glasses with champagne and wish Happy New Year to each other.
The next morning I find my gifts under the New Year tree. This is a very pleasant moment. We visit our relatives and friends to wish them Happy New Year. I like this holiday really much. It makes all children happy especially when it snows in New Year.
